The Organization
EmailCommand.com is a not-for-profit organization based in northern California. The company
is dedicated to promoting a positive image of our military -- active duty personnel, family members, and veterans -- by making pro-military email addresses available to the broadest number of military supporters possible. We believe that through the daily use of pro-military email addresses military supporters can spread the pride in and recognition of our all-volunteer armed forces and the sacrifices they make. It is a small step towards rebuilding the prominence our military once held in the general conciousness of our citizenry, but hopefully, through many small steps the objective might be obtained.
Why We Charge a Service
Fee
There is significant cost associated with providing the bullet proof quality
of service and advanced Spam and Virus filtering capabilities we deliver for
our email subscribers. We are not dependent on any political organizations, large
corporate sponsors, or advertisers in order to cover these costs. We do not spend
large amounts of money on big expensive parties for charitable donors, or buying
them lavish gifts. Our service is made possible by you, the individuals using
our service day in and day out. This choice allows us to stay closer to those
who know our service the best and can help us improve and grow our service thus
furthering the positive image of our armed forces, veterans and supporters.
The Founder
EmailCommand.com's founder, David Kerley,
is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the California Army National
Guard. His experiences in postings in the U.S. and Europe convinced him
of the need for a set of email tools designed to help servicemen and servicewomen
and their families "stay connected," no matter where they might
be living or stationed. David's vision is to keep improving EmailCommand.com's
email services, to make staying in touch even easier, more private and
more secure for veterans, family members, and servicemen and women throughout
the world.
